Courage beyond what you believed was in you

There is a courage that does not roar. A courage that does not announce itself. A courage that rises like breath—slow, steady, God given.
This is the courage the Spirit is awakening in you now.
For there are places you are being called to step into that your fear has tried to barricade. There are words forming in your mouth that insecurity has tried to silence. There are dreams stretching their limbs inside you that doubt has tried to bury.
But hear this in your spirit:
Courage is not the absence of trembling. Courage is the decision to move while trembling.
Courage is the whisper that says, “I will not let fear have the final word.”
Courage is the holy defiance that rises when everything in you wants to shrink back, yet something deeper—something older— something God breathed— pushes you forward anyway.
And the Lord says:
“I am not asking you to be fearless. I am asking you to be faithful.”
For every step you take in obedience opens a door you could not have opened on your own. Every yes you give Heaven shifts something in the earth. Every moment you choose trust over terror becomes a seed of breakthrough.
So stand. Even if your knees shake. Speak. Even if your voice quivers. Move. Even if the path is not fully lit.
Because courage is rising in you— not from your strength, but from the God who goes before you, the God who stands beside you, and the God who lives within you.
And you will look back on this season and say, “I did not know I had that kind of bravery in me— but God did.”
